• Our users (insurance agents or organizations) act as data controllers
• We process data only to provide and operate the Services
• We do not independently determine how user-uploaded data is used.

• The QuerySure platform and related services

a) Account & Business Information

We may collect:

• Phone number
• Organization or agency name
• User role and access level

b) User-Uploaded Content

Users may upload documents that contain personal data of third parties, including:

• Policy documents
• KYC documents
• Customer or policyholder details

Uploaded documents may include sensitive information such as:

QuerySure:

• Does not require sensitive personal data by default
• Does not mandate uploading any specific document
• Processes data strictly as instructed by users

6. AI & Data Processing

QuerySure uses external AI APIs to power features such as:

• Chatbot assistance

You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs are assistive in nature
• AI-generated data must be reviewed by users
• We do not use your data to train public or open AI models.
• Aggregated or anonymized data may be used for analytics and product improvement.

7. Data Storage & Security

a) Hosting

• Cloud-hosted plans: Data stored on AWS
• Self-hosted plans: Data stored on infrastructure chosen by the customer

b) Security Measures

• Data is encrypted in transit
• Access is restricted based on user roles
• Organization admins control internal access

No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect data.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

• Data is retained while your account is active
• After account termination, data is retained for 30 days
• After 30 days, data is permanently deleted
• Users may request early deletion by contacting us.
• We do not retain backups after deletion.

9. Data Sharing

We may share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS)
• Payment processors (e.g., Cashfree)

We:

• Do not sell personal data
• Do not use data for advertising
• Share data with authorities only when legally required
